This page details recent commissioned work and is updated as soon as the painting leaves my studio.

The best commissions grow out of a dialogue between me and the person who is looking for a new work. This communication can take place in person or over the phone. Often, an animal in my work may have a particular symbolic meaning to the person looking to commission and so a conversation around a theme using the animal and other elements is very helpful. Once the bare bones of the work are in place, I complete and frame the commission for the client to view in its entirety. Commissioned work can be a very fulfilling and rewarding exercise for both parties.

Framing

My paintings can be bought framed or unframed. I sometimes have a frame in mind when I am making the painting, in this case I can photograph the work in the frame and email it on. Otherwise a discussion about a suitable frame is a useful way to get the best results. All my frames are made by me including the painting, staining, gilding etc. Unframed work comes float mounted onto acid free board unless otherwise specified.
